Page Templates
Choose from multiple layout options to customize the reading experience for your posts and pages.
Your content deserves the perfect layout. The Enova theme provides four distinct page templates, allowing you to choose between immersive full-width reading, a classic sidebar-heavy look, or a focused single-sidebar configuration.
Available Layouts
Four templates change how sidebars and content are arranged. Two more, covered further down, build a whole page for you.
Default Layout
The classic Enova look featuring both left and right sidebars for maximum discovery.

Left Sidebar Only
Prioritizes navigation and widgets on the left side, keeping the right side clean.

Right Sidebar Only
A familiar blog-style layout with widgets and featured content on the right.

Full Width
Removes all sidebars for a focused, distraction-free reading experience.

Directory templates
Two of the entries in the dropdown are not layout variations. Each one builds a complete page from content you already have, so you add a title and publish, and the theme fills in the rest.
Tags Archive
An A to Z index of every topic you write about, with post counts, a letter jump bar, instant search, and sorting.
Authors Archive
A directory of everyone who writes for you, with photos, bios, locations, and social links pulled from their staff profiles.
Because they are picked from the dropdown rather than tied to a fixed address, these pages can live at any URL and in any language. Full setup: Tags & Authors Archives →
How to Change a Page Template
You can easily switch the template for any individual post or page directly within the Ghost editor.
Navigate to the post or page you wish to modify in Ghost Admin.
Click the Settings icon (in the top-right corner) to open the page configuration sidebar.
Locate the Template dropdown menu and select your desired layout from the list.
Click Update or Publish to apply the new layout to your content!

Pro Tip
Use the Full Width template for long-form, immersive articles or landing pages where you want your readers to focus entirely on the content without sidebar distractions.
Table of Contents behavior
The Inline TOC adapts to your chosen template. On layouts without a right sidebar — Full Width and Left Sidebar Only — the Inline TOC stays at the top of the content area instead of transitioning to the sidebar. Learn more about the Table of Contents →
The membership page has its own template
Your Membership page — the page at slug join — uses a dedicated template that binds to the slug automatically, so you don't pick it from the Template dropdown. It builds a full pricing-and-signup page from your Ghost tiers.
Right Sidebar
Every widget in Enova's right sidebar — About, Featured, Recent, Popular Tags, Top Authors, Newsletter, Recommendations, Related, TOC, ads, and Donate.
Table of Contents
Enova's adaptive table of contents — inline at the top of the article, sticky in the sidebar — and the internal tags that disable each mode.
