Portfolio band
Four projects on the homepage as a numbered list, with your starred project first, drawn from the same pages as the portfolio index.
A short, numbered selection of your work: four rows, each with a category, a name, a one-line description and a small thumbnail.
The rows are the same rows as your portfolio index, so the two surfaces can never disagree about order.
Create it
#home-projectsPublish at least one project: a page tagged with its category first and #project second. See Portfolio.
Go to Pages → New page. The title becomes the small uppercase label, for example Selected work.
Under Tags, add #home-projects.
Publish.

What appears automatically
- Four projects. Four reads as a selection; the portfolio page is where the whole list lives.
- Your starred project first. Ghost's Featured toggle pins a project to the top here and on the portfolio page. Everything else is newest first.
- An All projects link, once a page exists at
/projects/.
Category first, #project second
The small label on each row is the project page's first public tag. Ghost hides internal tags from readers but still counts their position, so a page tagged #project, Commission shows no label. Tag it Commission, #project.
The band needs at least one project
With no #project pages published, the band renders nothing.
