Podcast band
Cover art, the show's name and your three newest episodes on the homepage, with the listening links row and an All episodes link.
A tinted band holding your cover art, a line about the show and your three newest episodes. It is a teaser for the podcast page rather than a copy of it.
The episodes come from your own posts tagged #podcast, so there is nothing to list by hand.
Create it
#home-podcastPublish at least one episode: a post tagged #podcast. See The podcast.
Go to Pages → New page. The title becomes the small uppercase label, for example Podcast.
Set a Feature image: this is the cover art shown on the homepage.
Under Tags, add #home-podcast.

What each field becomes
| Field | On the page |
|---|---|
| Title | The small uppercase label, followed by the episode count |
| Excerpt | One larger line under it, usually the show's name |
| Body | A short note in the right-hand column |
| Feature image | The square cover art |
Two covers, on purpose
This page has its own feature image, separate from the artwork on your /podcast/ page. That lets you run a homepage crop that suits the band without touching the show's square artwork.
What appears automatically
- The three newest episodes, each showing its title, your own meta line and its date.
- The episode count beside the label. It reads "1 episode" on a new show, and is left off entirely at zero.
- The listening links row, if you have set one up. It is the same row as the podcast page, so Spotify and Apple appear in both places from one setup. See The podcast.
- An All episodes link, once a page exists at
/podcast/.
The numbers beside the episodes are decoration
Each row carries a small 1, 2 or 3. That is the band counting its own rows, not the episode number. Ghost has no episode-number field, so if numbering matters put it in the episode's excerpt, for example Episode 14 · with Ellen Marsh · 1h 04m.
The band needs at least one episode
With no #podcast posts published, the band renders nothing. It appears with your first episode.
