Site wide

Miyus site-wide settings — dark mode, dark mode logo, secondary background color, tag accent colors, fixed header, and the contact form endpoint.

These settings live under the Site wide tab in Settings → Design & branding → Customize and affect every page of your site.

Enable dark mode

Adds a color-scheme toggle to the header so readers can switch between light and dark mode. On a reader's first visit, the theme follows their device's preferred color scheme automatically; after that, their toggle choice is remembered.

Go to the Design & branding settings in Ghost Admin and click Customize.

Under the Site wide tab, find Enable dark mode and toggle it On or Off.

Click Save to apply the changes.

When Enable dark mode is on, you can upload a separate logo for the dark color scheme — typically a light or white version of your regular logo. If you don't upload one, the regular logo is used in both modes.

This setting is hidden until dark mode is on

The Dark mode logo field only appears in Ghost Admin while Enable dark mode is switched on. If you can't see it, check that toggle first.

Under the Dark mode logo field, click Upload image.

Select a logo that reads clearly on a dark background.

Click Save to apply.

Secondary background color

Sets the background color for the header, footer, and hero sections, giving your site a distinct frame around your content.

Under the Site wide tab, find the Secondary background color field.

Pick your preferred color from the picker.

Click Save to update your site.

Use tag accent color

Lets each tag's accent color replace the secondary background color on that tag's page, on posts under it, and on its homepage section — so every topic gets its own look. Set a tag's color in Ghost Admin under Tags → (your tag) → Tag color.

Under the Site wide tab, find Use tag accent color and toggle it On or Off.

Click Save to apply.

Fixed header

Keeps the site header pinned to the top of the screen as readers scroll, so navigation, search, and the dark-mode toggle stay within reach.

Under the Site wide tab, find Fixed header and toggle it On or Off.

Click Save to apply the changes.

Contact form endpoint

Connects the built-in contact page form to your free Formspree account. Paste the endpoint URL Formspree gives you, and submissions arrive in your inbox — no server setup needed.

Create a form at formspree.io and copy its endpoint URL (it looks like https://formspree.io/f/abcd1234).

Under the Site wide tab, paste the URL into the Contact form endpoint field.

Click Save.

No endpoint, no form

Until you save an endpoint here, the contact page renders without a form — just its title and content. If your contact page looks empty, this setting is the first thing to check.

For the full setup — creating the page, choosing the Contact template, and building a custom form — see the Contact page guide.
